Gawk at these official Galaxy S22+ renders

While Samsung hasn’t even started teasing its upcoming flagship smartphones yet, almost all details regarding the Galaxy S22 series have been leaked already. A few days ago, official renders of the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22 Ultra were revealed. Now, the official images of the Galaxy S22+ have been leaked as well.

91Mobiles has published the press renders of the Galaxy S22+, revealing the smartphone’s final design. It looks similar to the vanilla Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S21+. The camera module could be made using glass, unlike the metal housing found on the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21+. The phone has three cameras on the rear and a Super AMOLED Infinity-O display at the front with 1,750 nits peak brightness, confirming our exclusive report. The bezels around the screen look uniformly thin on all sides.

The Galaxy S22+ appears to have a metal frame, and going by previous leaks, the phone could feature Gorilla Glass protection at the front and the rear. The phone is expected to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and stereo speakers. The report claims that the Galaxy S22+ weighs 195g, which makes the phone slightly lighter than its predecessor.

The upcoming smartphone is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 processor, depending on the region. It could have a 10MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear camera (with 108MP remosaic mode), a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. It is powered by a 4,500mAh battery, and it supports 45W fast charging. Other expected features include fast wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, and 5G.
