Gang Beasts gets physical Xbox One release in December
What you need to know
- Gang Beasts is a multiplayer beat ’em up that’s incredibly popular on PC.
- It launched on Xbox One a few months ago.
- Unlike many other smaller games, it’s getting a physical release on the console.
- The physical version will cost $30 unlike the $18 digital version.
Party games remain popular on Xbox One despite the fact that the majority of gamers prefer AAA experiences like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Unfortunately, there aren’t that many experiences to choose from on the Microsoft Store, so whenever a new release comes along, it garners interest from many individuals.
Recently, Double Fine Productions — now a part of Xbox Game Studios — and Boneleaf released Gang Beasts on Xbox One. It’s an incredibly popular title, but if you’re unfamiliar with the game, Gang Beasts is a strange experience which features surly gelatinous characters, brutal fight sequences, and absurdly hazardous environments.
Beforehand, Gang Beasts was only a digital Xbox One game. Now, it seems like it’s getting a physical release. Skybound Games is bringing is to brick-and-mortar stores on December 3. A press release Windows Central received said that it was coming to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in North America on that date. Other territories will have to wait until December 6 to get a boxed copy.
Unlike the digital version, the physical one costs $30. It’s double the current price. Then again, you are getting much a tangible object. Are you interested in the physical version? Let us know.
