Galaxy Z Flip’s international variant starts getting July 2021 security update

Samsung has already released the July 2021 security update to various smartphones and tablets. Last week, the company rolled out the latest security patch to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and yesterday, the update was released to the Galaxy Z Flip’s Sprint variant. Now, Samsung has started rolling out the update to the international version of the Galaxy Z Flip.

The South Korean firm has released a new software update with the July 2021 security patch to the Galaxy Z Flip (SM-F700F) in various European countries. The latest update, which has firmware version F700FXXU6DUF4, has been released in Austria, Baltic countries, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and Ukraine.

As per Samsung’s documentation, the new update fixes close to 20 privacy and security vulnerabilities. The update could also include device stability improvements and a fix for the Android Auto issue that some people were facing.

If you are a Galaxy Z Flip user in any of the countries mentioned above, you might receive the update today. If you don’t receive it by tonight, you can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
