Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 get served with March 2023 security update

After the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy S23, it’s time for Samsung’s latest-generation foldable phones to get the March 2023 security update. The new software is rolling out now to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in some countries, and more countries are expected to get the update soon.

The new update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes with firmware version F721BXXS2CWB5. The update is rolling out in Afghanistan, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Egpyt, Guatemala, Iraq, Kenya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, the UAE, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay, and Vietnam.

Samsung is rolling out the March 2023 security update to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with firmware version F936BXXS2CWB5. This update is rolling out in Australia and Latin American countries.

If you are a Galaxy Z Flip 4 or Galaxy Z Fold 4 user, you can install the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update on your phone and then tapping Download and install, provided that the update has been released in your country. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
