After unveiling the Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy Tab S8 series earlier this month, Samsung has launched them in many major markets today. Alongside the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung’s latest flagship tablet is now available for purchase in Europe, North America, and South Korea. The devices will go on sale in other markets sometime next month.
The Galaxy Tab S8 is priced at $700 for the 128GB version in the US and goes as high as $800 for the 256GB version. The Galaxy Tab S8+ starts at $900 for the 128GB Wi-Fi-only version and goes as high as $1,100 for the 256GB 5G version.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the biggest tablet of the bunch, comes with a starting price of $1,100 for the 128GB version. 256GB and 512GB versions of the tablet are priced at $1,200 and $1,400, respectively. Samsung will soon launch 5G versions of this massive tablet in limited markets.
The South Korean firm is offering a $50 Google Play credit with the Galaxy Tab S8 and a $100 Google Play credit with the Galaxy Tab S8+ and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. All three tablets come in Graphit, Pink Gold, and Silver color variants.
Galaxy Tab S8 series gets 2x pre-orders compared to Galaxy Tab S7
Samsung claimed in its press release that the Galaxy Tab S8 series has received more pre-orders than any previous Galaxy tablet. It has already received twice the number of pre-orders compared to last year’s Galaxy Tab S7 series. It looks like people are loving the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and its massive 14.8-inch display as the device has received 50% of all pre-orders.
