Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) is slowly reaching more mainstream markets

Samsung is bringing the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) to another European market, Germany. The tablet first became available for pre-order last month in Italy, but it debuted on Amazon. Now, Samsung offers the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) in Germany through its e-shop.

In case you forgot, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) is a surprise refresh of the 2020 model, revealed quietly a few months ago. It’s more or less the same tablet as the original Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, save for a couple of key upgrades.

Newer firmware and a better chipset

The 2022 refresh ships with Android 12 and One UI 4.1 and should receive at least two major OS upgrades. More importantly, the 2022 model is powered by the Snapdragon 720G chipset, which outperforms the old model’s Exynos 9611 SoC in virtually every aspect.

Aside from these two upgrades, the 2022 model is unchanged. It sports a 10.4-inch TFT LCD, an 8MP main camera paired with a 5MP selfie sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 7,040mAh battery.

Samsung is selling the new Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) in Wi-Fi and LTE variants for €379 / €439 and up. The tablet is available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. Customers can pick from two colors: Oxford Grey and Angora blue.
