Galaxy S21 FE is Samsung’s latest phone to get November 2022 security update

Samsung is on a roll today. On the one hand, the company is releasing the stable Android 13 update to various high-end smartphones, and on the other, the company is expanding the reach of its new security update. The South Korean firm has now released the November 2022 security update to the Galaxy S21 FE.

The latest software update for the Galaxy S21 FE comes with firmware version G990EXXS3CVJ6. The update is currently available in Brazil and could soon be released in other countries worldwide. The November 2022 security patch fixes nearly four dozen security vulnerabilities in Samsung smartphones and tablets.

If you have a Galaxy S21 FE in Brazil, you can download and install the new security update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 FE earlier this year with Android 12 onboard. The phone is scheduled to get the Android 13 update before the end of this year. It will get three more Android OS updates (up to Android 16) in the future.
