Galaxy S21 Android 12 One UI 4.0 beta program now live in India

What we had suspected has come to pass: Samsung has started to expand availability of the Galaxy S21 Android 12 One UI 4.0 beta program to more countries following the release of the second beta build for the initial batch of markets. The beta program has now gone live in India.

Indian Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra owners can open the Samsung Members app on their phone to enroll in the beta program by clicking the beta notice in the app’s notices section. Once they’ve enrolled, they can install the Android 12 beta by downloading it from the phone’s Settings » Software update menu.

Indian users will get the second One UI 4.0 beta build that rolled out elsewhere just yesterday (firmware version ending with ZUJ1), which means they get to try out the new Material You color theming feature. Naturally, all the other One UI 4.0 stuff is in there, too, which you can learn about in the video below.

Remember to backup your phone’s data before you install the One UI 4.0 beta, and keep in mind that switching back to Android 11 and One UI 3.1 from the beta will require a complete device reset.
