Galaxy S10 series’ second June update adds new Call & Text quick toggle

It’s been nearly a week since Samsung began rolling out the June 2020 security patch for the Galaxy S10 series. Now, the company is releasing yet another update for the smartphone trio, and the new firmware has the same changelog as the June security update for the Galaxy Note 10 series. Essentially, this means the Galaxy S10 lineup now has a new quick toggle for Call & text on other devices in the notification shade after this second June update. The latest firmware update for the Galaxy S10e (SM-G970F), Galaxy S10 (SM-G973F), and Galaxy S10+ (SM-G975F) carries version G97xFXXU7CTF1 and it’s rolling out now in Germany and Switzerland. The changelog also mentions general improvements to touch, Wi-Fi, and camera stability. Availability should expand to more European countries in the coming days.If you own an eligible Galaxy S10 model, you can head over to SamMobile’s firmware archive for the SM-G970F, SM-G973F, and SM-G975F, download the new June firmware update for your particular device and region, and install it on your phone using a Windows PC. Alternatively, you can tap the update notification once it arrives on your Galaxy S10, or you might be able to skip the wait by opening Settings on your phone, navigating to Software update, and tapping Download and install.
