After releasing the September 2021 security update to the Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy Z Flip, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Samsung has started rolling out its newest security patch to the Galaxy S10 Lite. The update is currently rolling out in Spain, but it could soon expand to Asian, European, and other markets.

The Galaxy S10 Lite has started getting a new software update with firmware version G770FXXS6EUH5. It includes the September 2021 security patch. The company hasn’t detailed its new security patch yet, but we expect the documentation to be published over the next couple of weeks. The update could also include other bug fixes and device stability improvements.

If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite user in Spain, you might have received a notification of the new update. If you haven’t received any such notification, you can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy S10 Lite in early 2020 with Android 10 on board. The smartphone received the Android 11 update with One UI 3.0 in December 2020 and the One UI 3.1 update earlier this year.
