Galaxy S10 Lite picks up the October 2021 security update

We are approaching the end of October, and Samsung has now released the October 2021 security update to the Galaxy S10 Lite. The update is currently available in Russia and Spain, but more markets are expected to get access to it over the next few days.

The latest software update for the Galaxy S10 Lite comes with firmware version G770FXXU6EUJ3. It includes the October 2021 security patch and fixes more than 60 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. While we don’t have the official changelog yet, we expect the new firmware to bring bug fixes and stability improvements.

If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite user in Russia or Spain, you might have received a notification of the new update. If you haven’t received it yet, you can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy S10 Lite almost two years ago. The smartphone debuted with Android 10-based One UI 2, and it received the Android 11 update towards the end of 2020.
