Galaxy S10 gets September 2022 security update in the US

Two weeks ago, Samsung released the September 2022 security update to the Galaxy S10 series in international markets. Now, the update has been released to the carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy S10 series in the US.

The latest software update for the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+ comes with firmware version G97xUSQU7IVH3. The update brings the September 2022 security patch, which fixes over 24 security vulnerabilities. The update might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.

The new software update is now available on Sprint’s network in the US. Other carriers are also expected to release the update within the next few days.

If you have a Galaxy S10 series smartphone and if it is a carrier-locked unit, you can now download and install the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
