Galaxy S10 gets April 2022 security update in the US
Samsung has released the April 2022 security update to the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+ in the US. The carrier-unlocked models of these phones haven’t received the update yet.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+ comes with firmware version G97xUSQU6IVC7 in the US. It is meant for the carrier-locked models and is available on T-Mobile’s network. Other carriers could release the update soon. It includes the April 2022 security patch that fixes over 88 security vulnerabilities.
If you are a Galaxy S10 series user in the US and if you have a carrier-locked device, you can now download and install the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy S10 series in early 2019 with Android 9-based One UI. The phones received the Android 10-based One UI 2 update in early 2020, the Android 11-based One UI 3 update in early 2021, and the Android 12-based One UI 4 update a few months ago.
