Galaxy Note 9 Android 10 update rolling out in India

Samsung has released the stable Android 10 update for Galaxy Note 9 owners in India. The update is rolling out for those who didn’t participate in the One UI 2.0 beta program, so it’s a public release that will be available for all Note 9 owners in the country. India is the second country to get the Android 10 update for the Note 9, following its debut in Germany. The software version for both markets is the same: N960FXXU4DSLB, and the update includes the December security patch. Samsung seems to be taking it slow with the rollout for the Note 9’s Android 10 update compared to the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 series, but it should pick up the pace in the next couple of days, as it was just three days ago that the update was made available in Germany. If you own a Galaxy Note 9 and reside in India, you can download the update over the air by going into the Software update menu of the phone’s Settings app and tapping Download and install. For now, the update isn’t available over Samsung Smart Switch or our firmware archive, but we will let you know once that changes.
