Galaxy Note 10’s Android 12 update reaches Canada, USA

Last month, Samsung started rolling out the Android 12 update to the Galaxy Note 10 series. However, it was limited to some Asian and European markets. A few days later, the update was released in South Korea. The company has now released the update to the Galaxy Note 10 in Canada and the US.

The Android 12-based One UI 4 update is rolling out to the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ in the US. It comes with firmware version N97xUSQU7GULD. The unlocked units of the smartphones are getting the update with firmware version N97xU1UEU7GULD.

The update is rolling out in Canada as well, and it comes with firmware version N97xWVLU7GULD. The two smartphones are also getting the January 2022 security patch with the new update to fix various vulnerabilities.

If you are a Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ user in Canada or the US, you can check for the Android 12 update by navigating to Settings » Software update on your device and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

The One UI 4.0 update brings a revamped user interface with the Color Palette feature, improved widget styling, a new widget picker UI, improved AoD and Dark Mode, and improved versions of all stock Samsung apps. Samsung has also added more features to Accessibility, Bixby, Bixby Features, and the Device Care section.
