Galaxy Note 10+ 5G starts getting February 2022 security update

The Galaxy Note 10 series started getting the February 2022 security update in the US two weeks ago. Yesterday, the update was released to the international versions of the smartphones. Now, Samsung has released its new security update to the 5G variant of the Galaxy Note 10+.

The latest software update for the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G bears firmware version N976BXXS7GVB1, and it is currently available in Switzerland. More markets are expected to get the update soon. The February 2022 security patch fixes over 60 vulnerabilities in Samsung’s smartphones. It also includes device stability improvements and general bug fixes.

If you are a Galaxy Note 10+ 5G user in Switzerland, you can now check for the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also choose to download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy Note 10 series in mid-2019 with Android 9 onboard. The smartphone received the Android 10-based One UI 2 update in early 2020 and the Android 11-based One UI 3 update in Q1 2021. Last month, the smartphone received its last major OS update: Android 12.
