Galaxy F41 is getting November 2022 security update at last

We are only a few days into the new year and Samsung has already started rolling out January 2023 security update to its smartphones and tablets. A few devices from the company, however, aren’t that lucky, and that includes the Galaxy F41 (SM-F415F), which has just started getting the November 2022 security patch.

The new update for the Galaxy F41 upgrades the phone’s firmware version to F415FXXS2CVK1 and includes the November 2022 security patch that it brings fixes 46 security vulnerabilities. The update is currently rolling out in India but the other two regions — Brazil and Panama — where the phone is sold, should also get it very soon.

If you haven’t already received a notification on your Galaxy F41 about the update, you can check for the update manually. To do that, go to Settings » Software update and click on the Download and install button. Alternatively, you can also download the firmware from our database and flash it manually.

The Galaxy F41 came out in October 2020, and at the time of the launch, the phone was running Android 10 (One UI 2.0) out of the box. Since then, the company has offered two new versions of the OS to the device, which means that it currently running on Android 12 (One 4.1). The Galaxy F41 is not eligible to get the Android 13 update.
