Galaxy A53 leaks again, apparently straight from a Samsung offline store

The unannounced Galaxy A53 has been subjected to another leak. This time, it comes straight from an offline store in Thailand and what appears to be a Samsung employee posing for photos. It begs an explanation and makes one wonder if Samsung is leaking its upcoming phones on purpose.

Whatever Samsung’s whacky marketing plan might be for the Galaxy A53, the 5G model seen in these photos has a rose gold finish and looks pretty much as you would expect, thanks to all the previous leaks.

The device has a quad-camera setup and a rectangular camera bump. The frame is metallic, and the back panel is matte.

Get ready for A-nother underwhelming event

Today, Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy A53 5G will be unveiled on March 17 during a live-streamed event.

The company claims that the Galaxy A53 5G aims to democratize Galaxy innovations like a 108MP camera, [email protected] video recording, and 8K recording.

Then again, Galaxy A53 5G will also contribute to democratizing the removal of the wall charger from retail boxes. And dare I say it, the device appears to pave the way for a new way for Samsung to promote and generate hype around unannounced products through what looks a lot like official “unofficial” leaking campaigns. Unless this was a fluke. Either way, the phone should be announced officially in a few days, and we’ll keep you posted.
