Galaxy A51, Galaxy S20+ were among best-selling Android phones of Q1 2020

It was being reported that sales figures of the Galaxy S20 series have been disappointing so far and that it sold less than Samsung’s previous-generation flagships. However, a new report paints a different picture. According to the latest market analysis report from Strategy Analytics, the Galaxy S20+ was the third best-selling Android smartphone of Q1 2020.The report states that over 6 million units of Galaxy A51 were sold during the first quarter of this year, making it the world’s best-selling Android smartphone with a market share of 2.3 percent. The Galaxy S20+ was at the third position with a market share of 1.7 percent (around 4.4 million units). It is the only premium smartphone in the list of top six best-selling Android phones.The Galaxy A10s (1.6 percent) and the Galaxy A20s (1.4 percent) captured the fourth and sixth positions, respectively. The Xiaomi Redmi 8 was the second best-selling Android phone, while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 was at the fifth position.
