Galaxy A33 5G gets June 2022 security update in Europe

Three weeks after releasing the June 2022 security update to the Galaxy A33 5G in Asian countries, Samsung has released it in Europe. The update is available in Austria, Croatia, France, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the UK. More countries will get the update soon.

The new Galaxy A33 5G software update bears firmware version A336BXXU2AVF2. It brings the June 2022 security patch, which according to Samsung, fixes over 60 privacy and security vulnerabilities. It could also fix general bugs and improve the performance and stability of the phone.

If you have a Galaxy A33 5G and if you live in any of the European countries mentioned above, you can check for the new update and download it by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A33 5G earlier this year alongside the Galaxy A53 5G and the Galaxy A73 5G. The smartphone debuted with Android 12-based One UI 4.1 onboard and has been promised four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates.
