Galaxy A32 gets October 2022 security update in Latin America

Samsung had delayed the rollout of the August 2022 security update to the Galaxy A32 by quite a bit. However, the company is now pushing the October 2022 security update to the Galaxy A32 on time. The new update is currently rolling out in many countries across Latin America, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, and Peru.

The new update comes with firmware version A325MUBS2BVJ1, and it does not offer any new features apart from October 2022 security patch, which fixes more than 47 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. There could be bug fixes and performance improvements on board, but Samsung hasn’t mentioned them in the change log. The new security update should also reach Asian countries, including India, Singapore, and Indonesia, very soon.

Your smartphone should automatically prompt you to install the latest update, but if it hasn’t, you can check for the new software manually by going to Settings » Software Update and tapping on Download and install button. Alternatively, you can also download the firmware from our database and flash it manually. However, this process requires knowledge of manual firmware flashing. So, we recommend you wait for the OTA update rather than doing it manually.

The Samsung Galaxy A32 was launched in February 2021 with Android 11, and it received the Android 12 update in April of this year. The phone is supposed to get three major Android OS upgrades. So, expect it to get Android 13 along with One UI 5.0 in the near future.
