Galaxy A14 5G starts getting June 2023 security update
Samsung has just started rolling out the June 2023 security update to the Galaxy A14 5G. The update is currently rolling out in some Asian markets. Other countries and regions could get the new software update within the next few weeks.
Galaxy A14 5G June 2023 security update: What’s new?
The latest software update for the Galaxy A14 5G comes with firmware version A146PZHU3BWF1. The update is available in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Taiwan. It includes the June 2023 security patch that fixes over 60 security flaws that Samsung detailed in its security documentation a few weeks ago. It doesn’t bring any new features or performance enhancements.
If you live in any of the countries mentioned above and have a Galaxy A14 5G, you can now check for the new software update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually using a Windows PC and Samsung’s Odin tool.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A14 5G earlier this year with Android 13 onboard. The company has promised to release two major Android OS updates (Android 14 and Android 15) to the entry-level smartphone.
