One of Samsung’s most budget-oriented smartphones of the year, the Galaxy A01 Core, has been released in Brazil this week. It’s available for purchase in Samsung’s physical stores across the country and should be hitting the company’s virtual shelves momentarily. The Galaxy A01 Core isn’t listed online as of this writing, but Samsung’s official announcement reveals all the details you need, such as color options and pricing.Samsung Brazil has released the Galaxy A01 Core in all three color options including black, blue, and red. As for pricing, Brazilians who may want to buy the Galaxy A01 Core are getting the short end of the stick once again as they’ll have to pay more compared to customers in other markets. The Galaxy A01 Core costs 999 Brazilian real ($182), whereas the same device went on sale for around $80 in countries like Indonesia.The Galaxy A01 Core in Brazil has 2GB of RAMAlthough the Galaxy A01 Core was originally announced with 1GB of RAM, customers in Brazil will be getting the more powerful model equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage expandable by up to 512GB. The phone runs Android 10 Go Edition.The smartphone conceals a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core CPU and a 3,000mAh battery. The back panel carries a single 8MP camera and selfies are covered by a 5MP sensor that resides in a thick top bezel as opposed to a notch.
