The day that many Samsung fans had been waiting for is finally here. the company has opened up the One UI 4.0 Android 12 update beta today. Users in select markets can now sign up to test the next major firmware version for Samsung devices.

The new Labs section that Samsung has introduced in the Advanced features section of the Settings menu enables users to force split screen and pop-up view for all apps. For example, it brings the ability to change the audio output to a different device such as headphones or a speaker from the lock screen itself.
