Frostpunk: Console Edition goes up for preorder on Xbox One
Frostpunk is a city-building, survival, and strategy game that’s quite popular on PC. In a frozen world, people develop steam-powered machines to oppose the overwhelming cold. You, the city ruler, have to manage both the inhabitants and the infrastructure. Leaders face numerous challenges, frequently questioning morality and the basic foundation of what we consider as a society.
According to the developer, 11 bit studios, in order to succeed, you have to focus on optimization and resource management, even if they clash with empathy and thoughtful decision-making. Luckily, there’s also a fair bit of exploration because you have to venture outside the city walls to find resources and other items.
Frostpunk: Console Edition which features controller support is now available for digital preorder on the Microsoft Store. It costs $30 and is a pretty small download of a little over 3 GB.
