Forza Horizon 5 minimum PC requirements revealed

Microsoft has outlined its expected minimum hardware requirements for Forza Horizon 5 on PC, following the reveal at E3 2021. The upcoming title takes players to Mexico, with a cross-country adventure spanning all types of terrain, served alongside an abundance of supercars and motoring icons. The game looks beautiful in the process, too, utilizing photogrammetry and ray-tracing techniques to bolster visual fidelity.

The best-looking Forza to date means equally capable hardware, with Xbox Series X|S consoles and the latest PC hardware raising the bar for graphics. But Forza Horizon 5 will still retain support for many lower-end devices, according to new minimum requirements, newly published alongside the game’s new Steam listing. The entire list of system specifications follows below.

Forza Horizon 5 will remain relatively accessible with its latest entry, somewhat expected, given its cross-generational console release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles, alongside PC. Unlike the upcoming Forza Motorsport, scheduled to launch as a next-generation-exclusive experience, the next Forza Horizon entry retains flexibility for older systems.

Forza Horizon 5, while featuring various enhancements over its predecessor, appears to remain relatively accessible for lower-end systems. For those who don’t meet the requirements, the ongoing Xbox Cloud Gaming tests on PC provide an alternative way to play, only demanding a stable internet connection.

Forza Horizon 5 will launch on November 9, 2021, following a three-year hiatus for the series. Forza Motorsport developer, Turn 10 Studios continues to work on soft-reboot for the mainline titles, built from the ground up with next-generation hardware.
