First Galaxy Z Flip 6 update now rolling out widely

Samsung rolled out the first software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 earlier this month. The update was initially released in Korea, and now, it appears to be rolling out in several other countries and regions, including the USA and Europe.

The update in question comes with a build number ending with the characters AXH7. It brings the August 2024 security patch to the stylish foldable, along with stability and reliability improvements.

This update is the first of many software updates the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will receive in the future. Samsung’s new foldables are eligible for seven years of updates, and later this year, they will receive their first major OS upgrade in the form of Android 15 and One UI 7.0.
