Expert RAW Lightroom editing will sync across Galaxy S23 and Book 3

With the launch of the Galaxy S23, Expert RAW has become a more integral part of the mobile photography experience. And Adobe Lightroom is adding to that experience for Galaxy S23 and Book 3 buyers.

In case you missed the news, Samsung announced a new series of laptops at Unpacked alongside the latest Galaxy S23 flagship phones. They’re all available for pre-order, and Samsung made some efforts to enrich the user experience of mobile phones and ultrabooks users.

For example, Galaxy Book 3 owners can use the mouse, keyboard, or trackpad to control the Galaxy S23 running One UI 5.1.

And one other new feature announced today is Adobe Lightroom integration and seamless syncing across all these devices.

Lightroom offers seamless sync to Galaxy S23 and Book 3 users

Expert RAW is now offered directly through the Camera app on the Galaxy S23 series. You have to download the app separately from the Galaxy Store, but once installed, it will be accessible through the default Samsung Camera app.

Likewise, Adobe Lightroom is the exclusive editing app for Expert RAW, and it, too, can be downloaded through a prompt inside the Expert RAW app, much like it could be before Unpacked 2023.

However, the partnership between Adobe and Samsung now extends to the latter company’s laptops. Expert RAW photos edited through the Lightroom app on the Galaxy S23 or Galaxy Book 3 series are synchronized across devices, making the editing process a breeze for Samsung smartphone and Galaxy laptop users.

The Galaxy S23 flagship phones and Book 3 laptops are available for pre-order from the Samsung online store. The phones and the Galaxy Book 3 Pro / 360 Pro will hit the shelves on February 17. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will be released on February 22.
