Dynabook launches new Tecra laptops that focus on security and durability
Dynabook announced its new Tecra A40-J and Tecra A50-J laptops today. The laptops are designed for professional workers and support security features such as enterprise-grade encryption and support for Windows Hello. They also should be able to take some wear and tear in the field since each laptop meets MIL-STD-810H standards for drop, temperature, humidity, vibration, and shock. Both new Dynabook laptops will be available starting in July.
Dynabook highlights the security features of its new Tecra laptops, including Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0, enterprise-grade encryption, and optional Windows Hello fingerprint and face authentication. Both laptops meet Microsoft’s secured-core PC requirements.
The specs of the laptops are largely the same, apart from their display sizes and weight.
Dynabook has not revealed pricing for the laptops at this time.
