Destiny 2’s Season of the Hunt’s Wraithborn Hunts begin

Destiny 2’s Season of the Hunt content has officially arrived today across all platforms. Specifically, players will be able to access the season’s opening story mission and Wraithborn Hunts, which are missions where players hunt down the lieutenants of the Hive Goddess of War, Xivu Arath. By completing Wraithborn Hunts, players will be able to work towards earning the new seasonal weapons.

Over the course of the season, players will need to work with The Spider on The Tangled Shore and charge up a special Lure item in order to draw out Xivu Arath herself. Then, presumably, we will challenge her in battle to take her down once and for all. However, considering how important of a character she is in the story, there’s also a chance that she won’t be defeated for good at the end of the season too. Ultimately, only time will tell.
