Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris map and rewards for May 7-11

The endgame PvP mode Trials of Osiris is live in Destiny 2 from May 7 until May 11, and it can be accessed from the Crucible playlist in the Director menu. Trials of Osiris pits two teams of three players against one another over several rounds. The team that wins the most rounds wins the match, and whoever wins the match has a win added to their Trials win tracking card. Getting three, five, and seven wins on your card will net you Trials armor and weapons that you can’t get anywhere else, and if you win seven games straight without losing any matches, you’ll go flawless. Going flawless lets you and your team to travel to the Lighthouse location where you will be awarded a special piece of Adept Trials loot that has better stats compared to non-Adept versions. Getting three losses on your card will reset it, though, so make sure to bring your A-game.

Notably, the map that Trials matches take place on changes every week. This week, the map is Distant Shore, which features lots of long sightlines broken up by tunnels and large pieces of cover. It’s a great map for sniping, so hopefully your sharpshooting skills are up-to-snuff!

The gear that you get from playing well in Trials of Osiris is typically some of the best in the entire game. If you’re looking for the popular and powerful Igneous Hammer hand cannon, this is a great week to play Trials. This is because, strangely, all of the win rewards this week are Igenous Hammers. This may be a bug, so we’ll update this article if Bungie changes the rewards.

  • 3 Wins: Igneous Hammer (Hand Cannon)
  • 5 Wins: Igneous Hammer (Hand Cannon)
  • 7 Wins: Igneous Hammer (Hand Cannon)
  • Flawless: Igneous Hammer (Hand Cannon) (Adept)
