Destiny 2: Trials of Osiris map and rewards for April 23-27
The competitive PvP mode Trials of Osiris is now live in Destiny 2 from April 23 until April 27. In Trials of Osiris, you and two others team up to face off against another squad across several rounds. Whoever wins the most rounds wins the match, and whoever wins the match has a win added to their Trials card. Getting three, five, and seven wins while Trials is active nets you several pieces of unique Trials gear, and if you win seven consecutive games, you’ll go Flawless for Adept loot that has better stats than standard versions of the weapon you would normally get from regular Trials drops. This weekend, players will be competing on the map Javelin-4, which has plenty of long sightlines great for sniping.
The loot you can get from Trials of Osiris is usually awesome, and this week is no different. The Messenger is one of the best pulse rifles in the game, and two different armor pieces are available as well, which will no doubt make collectors happy.
- 3 Wins: The Messenger (Pulse Rifle)
- 5 Wins: Arms (Armor)
- 7 Wins: Chest (Armor)
- Flawless: The Messenger (Adept) (Pulse Rifle)
Are you a big Trials of Osiris fan, or are you new to the gamemode and interested in trying it? Are you planning to play Trials this weekend? Let me know. Don’t get distracted by the iMac’s looks — the real story is the price
Apple announced its refreshed iMac 24 this week, and while everyone is focusing on the awkward chin and odd color palette, it’s the price that I find the most interesting. There aren’t many all-in-one Windows PCs out there, and they certainly don’t compete at that price point, processor, and 4.5K display. That’s the real story.
Don’t knock Minecraft and ray tracing until you’ve tried it
Ray tracing is now out for all Minecraft players, but how does it change the game, and is it worth holding out for an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20/30 series GPU for the feature? We took an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 for a spin to find out.
