Destiny 2 developer Bungie has revealed everything that’s coming in the next in-game season, Season of the Worthy. On top of this, it has also revealed that the season begins on March 10 and ends on June 9, and will cost 1,000 Silver (the currency for the in-game Eververse store).
Power the Warmind to save the Last City from destruction, compete in Trials of Osiris, and unlock new Exotics in Season of the Worthy.
The other part of the season will be focused on the Trials of Osiris, a pinnacle competitive PvP activity that will roll around every weekend. The Trials of Osiris will challenge players to win multiple matches in a row for unique and powerful rewards.
Finally, the new season pass will include a brand new Exotic Auto Rifle called the Tommy’s Matchbook, as well as new sets of armor that are inspired by Eastern Bloc clothing. This perfectly fits with the seasonal theme, as Rasputin had close ties to Old Russia on Earth in the Destiny universe. There’s also a brand new Shotgun with four barrels as well, which is called the Fourth Horseman; it’s unsure where we’ll be able to earn this weapon, but it looks incredibly fun to use. Fans of the original Destiny will be happy to see it, as it was in the first game.
Destiny 2 is free-to-play on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The latest large expansion, Shadowkeep, costs $35 on all platforms.
