Descenders is about to become a whole lot better on Xbox Series X|S
Descenders is a cycling thriller that has players ride a variety of bikes across extreme environments and terrains. It’s one of the best of its kind, and it’s already enjoyed hefty support on Xbox consoles. Today, Descenders has announced that it’s being Optimized for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S with a major upgrade that will elevate the biking experience to new heights (and speeds). Releasing on June 8, 2021, the current-gen upgrade for Descenders will include:
- Up to 4K resolution support
- Up to 120 FPS support
- Improved visuals
- 8-player lobbies
- Cross-play with PC platforms
- Likely improved loading speeds
Descenders will join the ever-growing list of games that support 120 FPS on Xbox Series X|S and will even support cross-play with PC players. For gamers still invested in Descenders, this should be a great upgrade (or a great starting point for players trying the game for the first time).
Also happening on June 8, Descenders is getting a physical release on Xbox consoles. Players who pre-order the physical edition of Descenders will instantly unlock the Lanter Lux Set for character customization, which can also be unlocked through player progression.
If you haven’t played Descenders yet, it’s well worth your time. Descenders is currently included in Xbox Game Pass for PC and consoles, and on Xbox Cloud Gaming through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Descenders is one of the best games on Xbox Game Pass if you’re a fan of sports games.
