Dell’s G Series PCs are ready to handle PC gaming and VR
Dell announced three new gaming PCs today, the Dell G7 15 and Dell G7 17 laptops, and the Dell G5 Desktop. The PCs are powerful enough to handle VR and PC gaming, thanks to their NVIDIA RTX 20 series cards. The Dell G7 15 and G7 17 start at $1,430. The G7 15 is available starting June 29 and the G7 17 is available starting today. People wanting a new Dell gaming desktop will have to wait a bit longer as the Dell G5 Gaming Desktop should be available on July 9 starting at $700.
The G7 15 and G7 17 are completely redesigned when compared to the previous generation, according to Dell. They have thin bodies while still having powerful internals. They run on up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q on the G7 15 and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super on the 17. Both laptops have a Precision glass trackpad and a 4-zone RGB keyboard.
The G5 has four thermal mode options in the Alienware Command Center that let you optimize the PC for working, gaming, studying, or enjoying media content. Its front panel has full RGB lighting and the case has an optional clear side panel.
