Dell introduces three S-series monitors, including a 4K curved option

Dell announced three new S-series monitors today. The three new monitors in the lineup are the Dell 32 Curved 4K Monitor (S3221QS), the Dell 27 4K Monitor (S2721QS), and the Dell 27 QHD Monitor (S2721DS). The new 4K monitors start at $500 while the QHD monitor starts at $350. All three new monitors should be available on August 20, 2020.

The Dell 32 Curved 4k monitor has a 31.5-inch display with an 1800R curvature. The display has a resolution of 3840×2160 and supports HDR. It features built-in dual 5W speakers tuned by Waves MaxxAudio. The display should deliver smooth gameplay, thanks to its support of AMD FreeSync and Flicker-free screen with ComfortView. It gets 99 percent sRGB coverage and 90 percent DCI-P3 coverage.

The Dell 27 4K monitor has a display with a resolution of 3840×2160. It supports HDR and gets 99 percent sRGB color coverage. It also supports AMD FreeSync technology and has a flicker-free screen with ComfortView.

The Dell 27 monitor features a 27-inch display with ultrathin bezels on the sides and top. It has a resolution of 2560×1440. It gets 99 percent sRGB color coverage, like its S-series siblings. It features a flicker-free screen with ComfortView.

All three monitors are compatible with any VESA-compatible 100x100mm mount. In addition to announcing the three new monitors, Dell announced the Dell Premium Panel Exchange for the new S-series monitors. Within a limited hardware warranty period, Dell will exchange a monitor that has bright spots for one that does not.
