Dead Cells gets free Bestiary update on PC

Dead Cells is a rogue-lite, Metroidvania-like action-platformer. You’ll explore a sprawling, ever-changing castle assuming you’re able to fight your way past its keepers in 2D souls-lite combat. It’s rather hardcore as there are no checkpoints. The objective is to kill, die a lot, learn from your mistakes, and repeat until you’ve conquered everything.

Today, developer Motion Twin announced that the game is getting another free update. The Bestiary update brings new enemies to kill them, new affixes, outfits, and more. While it’s available right now on PC, it’s coming to console soon. The team said the following about the content.

Dead Cells fans have several new enemies standing in their way today, alongside a myriad of new content updates, as the Bestiary Update is now live on PC with consoles to follow next month from Motion Twin and Evil Empire. Fans are also treated to a whopping ten new achievements, with eight of them related to The Bad Seed DLC. Classic achievements are also now available and also secret, so there.

I can’t wait to play the new content. Dead Cells is an incredible game and I’m glad it’s still being supported by the developers after all this time.
