Eero Mesh

Eero mesh Wi-Fi system 3-pack | $40 off

This is Ecobee’s newest smart thermostat, and it’s just called SmartThermostat. The name is annoying, but the product is fantastic. It improves on all the previous generations and includes a whole new design with a glass finish, a vivid touch display, a quad-core processor, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and far-field voice recognition that can pick up your commands from across the room. Like the Ecobee 4, this one comes with its own smart sensor. And you can add more.

$249 at Amazon

This is an older generation of the Eero mesh networking system. While it’s still a fantastic device, and today’s price makes it a killer deal, this Eero 3-pack does have its limits. The biggest issue is that its maximum support is for Wi-Fi 5, not Wi-Fi 6. You’d have to pay $120 more to get the Eero 6, so if budget is a concern but you still need great Wi-Fi, go with today’s deal instead.

That being said, you can get a lot from the Eero. It can cover up to 5,000 squaare feet in fast, consistent Wi-Fi. The Eero puts a lot of emphasis on being easy to setup and easy to use, taking less than 10 minutes to get up and going. They work easily with most internet providers, too, so you can connect to your modem with ease.

The system is designed with automatic updates so you’ll get any new features Eero releases as they become available. The TrueMesh tech also helps the Eero to intelligently route traffic so it avoids bufffering and congestion. You can even use Amazon Alexa to control the Eero with your voice and do things like check on your network or get a guest password.
