Call of Duty: Modern Warfare guide: List of every Killstreak
Over the years, Call of Duty has handled killstreaks in different ways. My favorite way has always been scorestreaks — where kills and support actions build up your killstreaks — but with the release of Modern Warfare Infinity Ward has taken it back to the old school killstreak. In this mode, you can call in different equipment to help you as you kill more people without dying. This is great if you only care about your Kill-to-Death ratio, but not so good if you like to complete objectives.
Some of the killstreaks are a lot of fun to use — Wheelson is a little robot you can drive around and murder people with — while some others, like the white phosphorous, are pretty contentious in the modern world. We have a list of all the killstreaks here for you and the number of kills to get them.
- Personal Radar (3 kills)
- Counter UAV (4 kills)
- UAV (4 kills)
- Care Package
- Cluster Strike
- Cruise Missile
- Precision Airstrike
- Wheelson (7 kills)
- Infantry Assault Vehicle (7 kills)
- Emergency Airdrop (8 kills)
- Chopper Gunner (8 kills)
- VTOL Jet (8 kills)
- Chopper Gunner (10 kills)
- White Phosphorus (10 kills)
- Support Helo (11 kills)
- Gunship (12 kills)
- Advanced UAV (12 kills)
- Juggernaut (15 kills)
- Nuke (30 kills) (does not need to be equipped)
You will need to unlock most of these as you level up through the game, and the Nuke isn’t a choice really, you just get it if you are a badass. Once you unlock the kill-chain perk, things really heat up as your killstreak kills will start to count towards your next killstreak, making them much easier to get.
