Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gets massive free update on December 3
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a gaming institution. The original single-player story and the multiplayer experience were a masterclass in how to make a first-person shooter and now Activision is hoping it can make lightning strike twice. In an effort to expand the game’s appeal, the publisher is releasing a massive, free content update in December.
Today, Activision said that starting next week on December 3, get ready for the biggest free content drop in Call of Duty history. The roadmap for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Season 1 dropped today, giving everyone a glimpse at the incoming content. There are several new maps, modes, and weapons in the download. More details were provided on Activision’s blog.
Recently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare files were datamined and the results posted on the internet. There was a Reddit post that broke down all of the features. While we got information about some new maps and perks, the highlight was allegedly the 200-player battle royale offering. The player count seems awfully high so take it with a grain of salt.
