BREAKING: Galaxy S21 gets One UI 6.0 beta update!

Samsung has finally released the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy S21 series. The update is currently available in South Korea. Users who wish to beta-test One UI 6.0 on their Galaxy S21 devices need to register their devices using the Samsung Members app after logging in using their Samsung account.

The Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra is available for factory-unlocked as well as models from KT, LGU+, and SKT carriers in South Korea. It will be a massive update with a download size possibly exceeding 2.5GB, so we recommend downloading the update on a Wi-Fi network.

Samsung Galaxy S21 One UI 6.0 Beta Program

If you have a Galaxy S21 series phone in South Korea and if you have registered your phone in the One UI 6.0 Beta Program, you can check for the update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. It isn’t clear if the new update brings the September 2023 security patch to the smartphones.

Samsung could release the One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy S21 series in other countries, including China, Germany, India, Poland, the UK, and the US, in the coming weeks.
