Bleeding Edge Tech Alpha opens to Windows 10 with-cross play, cross-save

Bleeding Edge, the latest game from Devil May Cry and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice developer Ninja Theory, is getting ready to kick off another tech alpha test, and this time Windows 10 PC players can get in on the action. In a blog post on Xbox Wire, the Bleeding Edge team announced that Windows 10 PC players can now sign up to jump into the test at the game’s official site.

Bleeding Edge is a four-versus-four multiplayer melee combat game, and it features a rather colorful cast of characters. The first Xbox tech alpha took place in June after the game was announced at E3, and Ninja Theory is continuing to refine the gameplay and add new features.

With the next test, Ninja Theory has added a new offline mode to the game’s repertoire. “Aside from PC, we are launching a brand-new feature – play against AI in the Dojo,” Ninja Theory said. “The Dojo is a free play area where you can try out fighters and hone your skills when matchmaking is offline. You can also access our tutorials during times when the servers are offline.”

Along with the news that PC players will be able to jump in with the next alpha test, Ninja Theory also posted the minimum PC specs for the game. Here’s a look:

The October 24 tech alpha is set to run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET (4 p.m. to 7 p.m. PT). Because of the cross play feature, Xbox and PC players will be battling it out against one another. You can also carry over your saves from PC to Xbox and vice versa.
