Black Shark 4 is the new king of AnTuTu with 788,505 points

Yesterday Xiaomi sub-brand Black Shark revealed that its next smartphone is called Black Shark 4, and will have 120W wired fast charging for its 4,500 mAh battery.

Today the brand’s CEO took to Weibo to share the fact that a prototype Black Shark 4 has managed to achieve the highest score ever on the AnTuTu benchmark: 788,505 points. That’s much more than Xiaomi’s Mi 11 (hovering around 700k-710k), or other unreleased phones like the Oppo Find X3 (around 771k) or iQOO 7 (around 752k).

This accomplishment has been explained as coming from the dedication of Black Shark engineers, but the CEO still isn’t fully satisfied – and apparently won’t be until the Black Shark 4 breaks the 800,000 mark on AnTuTu.

Since a teaser campaign for it now seems to be in full force, we’re assuming the official announcement of the Black Shark 4 can’t be further away than a few weeks. Expect the phone to sport an OLED screen with 1080×2400 resolution, and have the Snapdragon 888 chipset at the helm, of course.
