Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One, but which ones truly stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft’s platforms next week. We have a few new smaller releases on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is finally launching on the console, and Return of the Obra Dinn offers an interesting take on the investigation genre. With that in mind, here are all the best games launching next week, between October 14 and 18.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville

The new Plants vs. Zombies game is probably the worst-kept secret in gaming. Everyone who played the multiplayer test leaked its existence weeks ago, and we even saw a trailer. While everyone expected the game to launch later this year, it’s leaving early access next week.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville should launch on October 18, starting at $40. The game runs at 4K resolution on Xbox One X.

Return of the Obra Dinn

However, it turns out to be much more than a simple case.

Return of the Obra Dinn should launch on October 18.

Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed Islands

Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed Islands is an open world, exploration, and farming adventure full of quests and discovery! You’re ship-wrecked on a mysterious archipelago and it’s up to you to escape.

Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed Islands should launch on October 17, priced at $25. Those who preorder can get it for $21.50.

After being shipwrecked on a mysterious archipelago, you’ll have to fight off dangerous foes, gather your scattered crew and set up a farm to feed everyone stranded as you build up your camp.

These are the biggest games launching soon, and many of them seem like absolutely thrilling experiences.
