We have a few new smaller releases on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, Atlas is finally launching on the system, and Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince offers an interesting take on the platformer genre. With that in mind, here are all the best games launching next week, between October 7 and 11.

Most anticipated Xbox One games for 2019 and beyond

Atlas (Game Preview)

Atlas is a fantasy pirate adventure with slightly more realistic graphics than Sea of Thieves, though it’s still a bit stylized. Where players complained that Sea of Thieves felt rather empty, Atlas looks like it’s packed with content because the trailer showcased action-packed battles with dozens of people and even some fire-breathing dragons. Keep in mind that it’s coming to Xbox Game Preview initially.

Atlas (Game Preview) should launch on October 8.

Frostpunk: Console Edition

Frostpunk is a city-building, survival, and strategy game that’s quite popular on PC. In a frozen world, people develop steam-powered machines to oppose the overwhelming cold. You, the city ruler, have to manage both the inhabitants and the infrastructure. Leaders face numerous challenges, frequently questioning morality and the basic foundation of what we consider as a society. Frostpunk: Console Edition is specifically designed for Xbox One.

Frostpunk: Console Edition should launch on October 11, priced at $30.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince and Trine: Ultimate Collection

Trine is an incredible platforming series that was quite popular on the Xbox 360. While Trine 3: Artifacts of Power didn’t live up to expectations, it still managed to deliver a compelling experience. Unfortunately, Trine 3 hasn’t made its way to Xbox One, but that’s about to change. Recently, developer Frozenbyte announced that Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince was coming in October and that the previous three Trine titles were also coming to Xbox One then.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince and Trine: Ultimate Collection should launch on October 8. Trine 4 costs $30, while the collection comes in at $50.
