The Inspiron 14 5420 has a slim build but holds onto plenty of ports, including dual Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, USB-A, and an SD card reader. The keyboard stretches from side to side, and there’s a sizable touchpad below. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 are on board for wireless connectivity.
Whereas a lot of affordable laptops cheap out on the display, the 5420 has a 14-inch screen with 16:10 aspect ratio, 2240×1400 (2.2K) resolution, about 300 nits brightness, and anti-glare finish. As for performance hardware, it’s sporting a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U CPU with 10 cores, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. Regularly priced at $800, you can pick it up right now for $680.
This monitor boasts a 240Hz refresh rate for its 1080p panel, as well as a 1ms GtG response time. Those are some great specs to pair up with a new GPU, and the addition of NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium means you don’t have to choose a specific card for the extra reduction in screen tearing and stuttering. Regularly priced at $1,420, Lenovo has cut off about $395 to bring the total price down to $1,025. This is a great option if you’ve been waiting to get your hands on a modern convertible PC with excellent specs and features.
What makes it so great? The 13.4-inch FHD+ display has a 60Hz refresh rate and excellent color reproduction and contrast, the keyboard, haptic touchpad, and speakers are all top-tier, and it has one of the best designs currently on the market.
This specific model has a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P CPU, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a 512GB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, and Intel’s integrated Iris Xe graphics. Instead of the regular (and fairly steep) $1,699 price, this XPS 13 Plus is down to $1,349. That’s a much more reasonable cost that puts it in line with a lot of lesser laptops that Dell has to offer.
That’s all changed thanks to Amazon’s Prime Early Access sale, which has the 2TB version of the 980 Pro down to just $190. That’s 50% off the regular $380 price tag. The M.2 SSD is capable of hitting read speeds up to 7,000MB/s and write speeds up to 5,000 MB/s, plus its endurance is rated at 1,200 TBW with a five-year warranty. Whether you’re building a new PC or upgrading an older one (with PCIe 4.0 capabilities), this drive will change your life.

If you’ve been waiting awhile to upgrade your PC or build something new, this is a fantastic mid-range card even in the face of NVIDIA’s RTX 40-series GPUs being launched.
TP-Link’s Deco P9 (AC1200) is a fairly powerful option, offering coverage for up to 6,000 square feet (give or take some feet, as this is a claim made by TP-Link). The system is easy to set up, and it includes two nodes and one main router. It’s a dual-band system, but its AV1000 powerline backhaul channel means you don’t have to worry about slowdowns when the nodes are talking to each other. At this price, you’re getting an immersive experience with a curved display, 160Hz refresh rate panel, and 2440 x 1440 pixels of resolution.
Go get your stream on with Razer’s Kiyo X webcam! This terrific 1080p streaming webcam is now in sale for just $47 as part of Amazon’s Prime Day sale, giving it a savings of more than 40%! The Kiyo X earned solid marks in our review with its solid performance and features, and Razer gamers will be able to integrate the webcam with the Synapse 3 software.
With a sculptural stand and a 21.5-inch display, HP’s compact all-in-one desktop is a great addition to a design-centric home, small spaces, and dorm rooms. HP’s 15-inch Victus gaming laptop is now nearly 40% off for Prime Day, making it a huge bargain for those who want a solid gaming laptop. The Victus comes with Intel’s 12th Gen Core i5-12500H processor, 8GB of memory, and a 512GB solid-state drive alongside discrete Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics. The only downside is the weight, and the Victus comes in at 7.54 pounds.

Better yet, it’s 60% off right now, ideal for those wanting an effortlessly easy PC for the home.
This Gateway laptop isn’t winning any awards, with entry-level specs that will only get you through some web pages, documents, and some odd entertainment. It’s not suitable for gaming or any demanding tasks, though its low price makes this ideal for casual computing.

The Prime Early Access Sale has discounted hundreds of laptops from top PC makers, including many at their record-low prices. It’s tempting to be swept by the cheap offers, though it pays to be cautious when shopping for a new PC.
We’ve scoured all the Prime Early Access offers and hunted down the cheapest laptops we can actually recommend. The CHUWI HeroBook Pro 14.1 tops that list, a 14-inch notebook with an impressively low price which we called a “steal” in our review. It’s now just $172 on Amazon, down from $258 during the Prime sale.
The latest CHUWI HeroBook Pro 14.1 has a 1080p HD screen with an Intel Gemini Lake N4020 chip, 6GB RAM, and a 128GB SSD. It has all-day battery life, quoted up to 9 hours, with a compact and lightweight form factor fit for travel. It also runs Windows 11.
“With an all-day battery, 1080p display, and all-around decent design, the HeroBook makes it easy to live with some of its shortcomings,” stated Senior Editor, Cale Hunt, in our review of its earlier 2019 model. If you don’t expect great performance or cutting-edge features, it’s a solid pick for browsing the web, editing documents, watching videos, and other light tasks.
Don’t want Windows? Apple’s signature MacBook Air has dropped to an all-time low on Amazon, with prices starting at $799 this Prime Early Access Sale. It’s a rare discount on one of the best premium laptops on the market, powered by Apple’s M1 silicon, having made headlines for its performance and efficiency in an ultra-thin form factor.
This is Apple’s first MacBook Air with its acclaimed M1 chip, ideal for the web and everyday computing, with additional overhead for heavier workloads like photo and video editing. While Apple has since launched its redesigned MacBook Air, even further than its predecessor, this MacBook Air still exists as its most affordable Mac on shelves.
This entry-level MacBook Air has an M1 chip, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD, offering incredible value at $799. The Air is also known for unrivaled battery life, quoted up to 18 hours, with fanless cooling and a slick all-metal chassis.

Cheap Logitech mice, keyboards, and more from $10
Kitting out your home office on the cheap? The Prime Early Access Sale has discounted a wide range of affordable accessories from Logitech, including mice, keyboards, headsets, and webcams.
It’s best to avoid questionable Amazon brands during these sales, with reputable names offering more reliable products. Logitech has been a go-to in PC accessories for decades, among the best-reviewed options, especially when on a budget.
Prices start as low as $10 for the affordable Logitech M170 wireless mouse, with the Logitech MK270 mouse and keyboard reduced to $20 for a simple desktop combo. The Logitech C615 webcam has also dropped from $70 to just $28.99, offering full HD video, beating out many laptop webcams.
