Battletoads is now set to release on August 20

First announced at E3 2018 then shown off in more detail a year later, the Battletoads are almost here. Today, Xbox announced a release date for Battletoads: players can expect to brawl and smash as this amphibian wrecking crew on August 20, 2020. You can check out the release date trailer below:

Developed by Dlala Studios in partnership with Rare and published by Xbox Game Studios, Battletoads supports three-player couch co-op, so if you’ve got friends of family, you can team up and have Zitz, Rash and Pimple all fighting at the same time.

Battletoads will be available on Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam. It’s also launching into Xbox Game Pass.
