Baldur’s Gate, Planescape: Torment, and more cult classics land on Xbox One

Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate II, Planescape: Torment, and Icewind Dale are cult classics that inspired a lot of modern role-playing games. They’re available on a number of devices like Android and iOS, but if you wanted to play them on Xbox One, you were out of luck. However, that changed today.

Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate II, Planescape: Torment, and Icewind Dale are now available on the console. Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II are bundled together for $50, and Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale also cost $50. You’ll have to buy all four games through two separate transactions.

In my opinion, the price for these titles is quite high because they don’t feature Xbox One X enhancements and don’t look that great on modern displays. On iOS, they’re around the $10 mark. It’s unclear why the team is charging so much for the console ports when it isn’t even the top-of-the-line edition.

They’re back!
