Back 4 Blood is bringing a solo offline mode in December
Back 4 Blood is the latest iteration of Turtle Rock’s zombie-killing pedigree, with plenty of action for co-op players to enjoy. Anyone who has been wanting to make progress on their offline has been left out until now. The developers shared a new Back 4 Blood roadmap on Monday, indicating that several new feauters are headed to the game, including an offline solo mode that’ll be available at some point in Dec. 2021.
Accompanying this new mode will be a seasonal event and some new cards for players to build decks with. Looking further ahead, a new difficulty and a new co-op mode are being added at some point in 2022.
For any players that hold the Annual Pass DLC, there’s an expansion coming in 2022 called Tunnels of Terror. This expansion is introducing new Cleaners, new types of Ridden and more. There’ll be a second expansion that’s also slated for 2022, with a third being aimed at some point in 2023. The developers are aiming to support Back 4 Blood for years to come, meaning it could be one of the best multiplayer games on Xbox for the forseeable future.
Back 4 Blood is currently available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, PS5 and PS4. It’s also available in Xbox Game Pass.
