Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is grabbing a major update today

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the latest in Ubisoft’s biggest franchise, which sees players take up the mantle of assassin in some way or another in various places around the world. Valhalla has players take control of a viking who has set out to unite England, and is one of the better games to release in 2020. Besides some performance issues and minor bugs, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was relatively stable, but Ubisoft has still been releasing semi-frequent patches absolutely loaded with bug fixes and improvements.

The latest update, Title Update 1.1.1, is rolling out now for every platform Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on.

The update includes dozens of changes for balancing, quests, combat, NPCs, UI / UX, graphics and audio, and much more. It’s a sizeable update, and should hopefully provide a noticeable improvement for players who have been suffering from a myriad of smaller bugs and issues. The update started rolling out today, but you still might need to wait a little bit before it appears for you.

The 1.1.1 update has varying download sizes, depending on your platform:

  • Xbox Series X|S: ~7.5 GB
  • Xbox One: ~6.6 GB
  • PlayStation 5: ~2 GB
  • PlayStation 4: ~2-3 GB (depending on region)
  • PC: ~6.45 GB
